Every body tells a different story. I take the time to read it.
I got into massage because I wanted work that meant something at the end of the day. When a client gets off the table and I can tell something shifted — that they came in carrying something and they're leaving without it — that's the whole reason I'm here.
I served in the Army before this, and that shaped how I think about showing up for people. Service isn't just a word to me — it's how I work. Massage is where that instinct found its best use. I came to this through HACC's massage therapy program, years in IT, and a lot of time thinking about how to make things better for the people around me. When I finally got my hands on it, it clicked.
I'm going to ask you questions before we start — not as a formality, but because where your body hurts and where the problem actually lives are often two different places. Pain has a source. I want to find it. Expect a session that adjusts to what your body is telling me, not one that runs the same routine regardless of what you came in with.
Your comfort remains part of the session from beginning to end. Pressure, positioning, draping, temperature, areas of focus, and anything affecting your ability to settle can be adjusted at any time.
Say something if anything doesn't feel right — pressure, positioning, an area you want me to skip. Your comfort isn't an interruption. It's part of how I do good work.
Army veteran. Several years in IT. Massage school at HACC. I've spent most of my life figuring out how things work and how to make them better for the people around me. Massage is where all of that finally came together.
